I have not only been ungrateful for this excellent gift and principle but I have even spoken against You for commanding such purity and discipline and for not permitting any kind of prostitution and unchastity to go free and unpunished. The sins against this commandment, such as marriage despised, mocked, and condemned, are open and shameless. They are shameless and are the most obvious of all sins. This grieves me.
